Roadmap for Success
Stakeholders in Crawford County, Illinois came together in late April 2022 to work through an Opportunities and Outcomes workshop facilitated by Business of Child Care.
The WHOLE Community Approach brings together stakeholders who broadly benefit from good child care to determine the next set of desired outcomes for child care.
The process includes focus on supporting existing child care while being intentional about creating new child care capacity.
The community identified four key themes of focus in the initial efforts to better support child care.
Over the next 12 months, the community will recognize and resource existing child care businesses and while setting forth the framework to add additional capacity.
